Frequently asked questions
Do we need to join to be bookable?+
No. Many hotels are already available to our gift card holders through established distribution channels, with no separate agreement. Our marketing opportunities are entirely optional.
How much does it cost?+
Our Reciprocal Partnership is one night stay for two guests, at a time of your choosing, which we use for a collaborative social competition, in exchange for one featured listing on our Inspiration page. Featured Placement is €500 for 3 months and includes a rotating seasonal listing on Inspiration, a feature in our email newsletter, a place on our Recommended Hotels page and your own hotel profile.
How are stays fulfilled?+
Guests use their Hotel & Spa Gift Cards on our platform to book live availability, fulfilled through verified global hotel distribution channels with whom your property holds an active commercial distribution contract, settled at your contracted rates.
Who are the guests?+
Hotel & Spa Gift Card holders are high-intent leisure guests looking for exceptional places to spend their gift. They often celebrate milestones and frequently also enjoy fine dining, spa treatments and room upgrades.
Are there commissions or listing fees?+
There are no card fees, commission surcharges or marketing costs charged to properties for fulfilling a stay via our global hotel distribution channels. Bookings land in your PMS automatically.
Who can be featured?+
We are a curated luxury collection, so we only feature 4-star and 5-star hotels and resorts, and boutique luxury hotels and spas.
Can we update our photos or packages?+
Yes. General Managers, Revenue Directors and Marketing Managers can email partners@hotelandsparesorts.com to feature bespoke spa packages, update photography or adjust listing preferences.
